Pendant lamp DOT by FOSTER + PARTNERS.
Pendant lamp DOT by FOSTER + PARTNERS.Dot is a family of pendant lamps designed by Foster + Partners to make luminaires look like disks of light. Their design neatly combines formal rigour and the most advanced lighting technology. Dot has two differently sized parallel disks connected through their centres by a thin metal tube. The bottom, smaller disk is turned aluminium and contains a LED ring optically engineered to cast a high quantity of light onto the top disk, the diffuser, made of lacquered aluminium. The high-powered source generates an amount of heat that the bottom disk could not dissipate on its own. The problem was solved by placing a special heat sink (used in the aerospace industry) in the thin tube connecting the disks. Its function is to thermally connect the LED circuit to a heat dissipator housed in the top disk. On being switched on, the Dot is a thin, lightweight disk, seemingly suspended in mid-air, that generates an enveloping flux of light without shadows. Dot comes in three different diameters and power ratings: √∏60cm (23W), √∏80cm (41W), √∏110cm (55W). There are two finishes.
DOT minimal pendant light by FOSTER + PARTNERS
Pendant lamp DOT by FOSTER + PARTNERS. The smaller disc – made of machined aluminium – contains a ring of LEDs that bounce the light off the larger spun aluminium reflector disc. To preserve the minimal form of the lamp, the design uses an innovative heat tube that connects the two discs. This tube contains a fluid that turns to vapor as it absorbs the heat, transferring it efficiently to the heat sink in the reflector.

Suspension lamp GALILEO MINI LED by EMANUELE RICCI. GALILEO is the jewel of the Lumina collection. GALILEO’s precious crystal shade is the outcome of an extremely precise process of glass making. The refraction quality of the optical glass conveys the maximum possible brilliance of light through the entire shade. Available with LED source. This version of GALILEO is even more elegant and its light even purer than the earlier halogen series.
Floor lamp ELLE by TOMMASO CIMINI. A minimal yet notable floor lamp series, ELLE can be used both for direct and for diffused lighting. Jointed arm, adjustable reflector and special grid for glare control are ELLE’s defining features. Available with one or two jointed arms. Identical in shape and size to the historic halogen version, ELLE LED is renewed with a superior luminous flux and a consumption lower than 50W. The adoption LED technology ensures a very high color quality. ELLE LED, available with double or single arm, has a double dimmable light emission: direct 25W with anti-glare grid and 20W indirect. Aluminum and steel body, foot dimmer on the cable.
DAPHINE table lamp by TOMMASO CIMINI 1975. Since 1975 this lamp has represented the essence of Lumina. It is displayed in some of the most famous Museums of Modern Art and Design in the World. DAPHINE is a timeless synthesis of function and form: an articulated arm, with a pivoting diffuser, mounted on a transformer. Available now with LED version, identical to the CLASSIC DAPHINE in shape and in movement, but with a more powerful light against lower consumptions. Table standing lamp in metal an articulated arm and diffuser pivoting on 360°. The base of cast iron comes black varnished. Available with LED light source. Two step switch and dimmer. This true icon of design has earned its place in the world’s major design and contemporary art museums, including the Brooklyn Museum and Judd Foundation in New York, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Die Neue Sammlung in Munich and The Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
The FLO range of lights is the result of FOSTER + PARTNERS first collaboration with specialist Italian lighting manufacturer, Lumina. This minimal light integrates the latest dimmable LED technology within a streamlined, curving form. The cold-formed head and slender aluminium frame are balanced by a circular aluminium base and a delicate profile is created by eliminating superfluous moving parts, such as coils and springs. Floor LED lamps in varnish coated aluminium and steel. The head rotates by 300° for direct lighting, the arm pivots on the base by 120°. 6W LED, task light which you can switch on with one click for full light intensity, with two clicks for half light intensity 3 . Lounge version, with H 100 cm and 3W LED perfect next to the reading chair
