ANDES armchair by LUCA NICHETTO. Change of perspective in the ANDES product family:LUCA NICHETTO’s inviting armchair receives a star-shaped, swivel base and thus shows itself from a completely new design side. The rotary cross with smooth back function makes it a highly communicative ANDES representative, who visually walks like a chameleon between the moon and a straight line.
VUELTA High-Back armchair by designed JAIME HAYON.Eclectic, exciting, Mediterranean Baroque – and yet wonderfully timeless. These are the characteristics that define the eye-catching style brought into being by the playful collaboration between Spanish artist and designer JAIME HAYON and Austrian furniture maker Wittmann.
CONTESSA 1956 High-Back Chair. The original was the first modern piece of furniture produced by Wittmann after the war: a “sporty piece” raked sharply backwards and firmly upholstered like a sports car seat. All of the experience built up by the manufacturer over the past 60 years – as well as state-of-the art technology and materials – went into developing this modern-day reedition.
MERWYN lounge chair by SEBASTIAN HERKNER. The shell that SEBASTIAN HERKNER gives this quality core espouses a similar blend of traditional and contemporary strengths: the shape of the chair and sofa stirs up associations with classic armchairs and canapés. The precise upholstery is positioned above delicate, almost fragile-looking legs. By contrast, the piece’s modern, pared-down shape and thoroughly stable structure – along with its pleasingly coherent proportions – is a product of the complexity of knowledge and skill that goes into innovative design ideas.
